Go Gold promo, get Ryse Son of Rome Legendary Edition for free

I don't get Xbox Live Gold all the time. Especially in the last few months as there hasn't been any games I want to play online but today I saw a promo for the Ryse Legendary Edition. If you get Gold then you get a code for the game and all DLC. So I just
bought a month.

Has anyone gotten this deal before? The fine print says it may take 4 weeks for the code? lol I don't mind really, I was planning on getting gold for Star Wars Battlefront anyway and then looking for some deal on Xbox Live Gold during Black Friday later this
month.

I signed up for gold on November 17 during the promotion that read if u sign up for gold u will receive a download code for ryse. Son of Rome legendary edition for free within 4 to 6 weeks... It is well over my 6 weeks and I still don't have my download
code.

 

Overrated game at least you got it free. Never got a game for buying gold just discounts

Yea, I heard it wasn't GREAT, apparently Microsoft was trying to push Crytek into using the Kinect for it as well. I may wait on the 44GB download. I didn't realize the file was that big for the entire game. oh well..I didn't pay anything extra for it.

 

I think it was underrated, it was short, and the usage of the Kinect was junk, but was a good game, multiplayer was pretty good as well, and I still think it's one of the prettiest games this generation.

 

Still one of my favourite games of the new generation and one of/if not the best looking games to this date.

I loved it. As others said it was short but it was so much fun to play.

Co-op was brilliant as well. Me and a mate must have clocked up around 70 hours in the arena's.

This is one of those games I put in option 2 catagory of games I would want to get should I pick up an X1.

I saw some gameplay of it and liked what little I saw.

Free is always good.

 

Good game but way to short but it was a launch title so it's expected. The gameplay gets repetitive really quickly. I played on medium difficulty it took about 5 hours.

 

When does the offer expires?

 

Best played on Legendary in my opinion, some good collectibles as well!

 

Yeah I should have played on hard. I usually do with most games off the bat to try to get them to last longer.

 

I really liked the story it was great. It is a beautiful game graphics wise. Plus there were real historical figures in the game even though they weren't historicly accurate they blew me away that they were even in the game. Under rated game for sure.
