Global DIGITAL release

The global release date for the digital copy of dying light is the 28th of jan not the 30th why when I have bought the game on xbox one does it still says 30th have checked and the UK inset for 28th digital release will I be able to play my copy in the UK
on 28th of jan

PS understand the physical copy is 30th in Europe but that has now been pushed to 27th of February so think digital release date should have priority

Younhave tonremeber you go by local release sate not the global release date

Youncan ask your local gameshop for exact release dates

Again digital downloads regardless of system is gmt time

This is what I read on ign.

 

The Australian xbox live marketplace still says the 30th as well. The developers, and publishers, have stated that digital copies will launch here on the 28th. Hopefully, having the wrong date on the page that I need to use to unlock the game I purchased
will not cause any issues on (the real) launch day.

 

Ill rage if any of my EU friends play this on the 28th and im left out for two days coz I pre ordered, I really need to stop this pre order thing, I dunno why I keep falling for it.

 

If u pre-ordered outside of the states you will not get a physical copy till 27th of February trouble with shipping so delayed a month only way to get is buy digital copy

 

Has Microsoft responded to anybody on this issue? I've been trying to get a response all day on Twitter from various people about the digital release. Techland are adamant the release is 28 Jan yet MS have not done anything about changing the store. To rub
it in, PSN have spotted the error of their ways and are in the process of changing their store to come in liine with Techland's release date.

 

Had no reply or email from Microsoft kinda annoyed as this is official forum and only one day left

 

I hope they sort it for tomorrow seems stupid if they make us wait till the 30th whilst everyone else is already playing it :/

 

Guess MS don't care there releasing the digital ver. two days late.

 

How has no one else noticed this yet that the release date is the 30th? I've been looking on the internet for ages and this thread is the only thing I've found about it :/ come on Microsoft!

 

Contradicting statements everywhere Xbox Ireland Tweeted that it would release the 30th but Xbox Support saying the date the publisher gives them is the date it releases!

 

Just had a chat With MS customer support. And they said the digital release date in Eu is 30th of january. Sounds strange to me since it's "gloably known" that the date here was the 28th.

And why does PS4 get it on the 28th?

 

Unfortunately, PS4 get it on 28th because MS *** up on the release date and were too stubborn to sort it out. MS are like Ostriches, burying their heads. I WAS a big advocate of digital on Xbox One - starting to doubt my calling.......
