Glitched out Xbox Menu

Has anyone run across this problem before? I'm currently trying to fix my xbox of this really weird glitch & it just happened a couple of hours ago. It's trying to load the most recent data but at the same time it's not. I've hard restarted the console,
unpluged the power cable, etc. & nothing changed. Another weird thing is that it's saying i'm online & there is only the "Home" option on the dashboard. Any thoughts or suggestions on this would be very helpful on this

Major Nelson powering the X1 up

looks good.
But you can see a small glitch at the beginning, where the menu is popping in and out for a milisec.
But i am sure they would figure something out

Microsoft Jackpot wild ocean glitched out.

Did an uninstall and reinstalled.... Still glitched out. On the bonus free spin thing but no free spins and won't do anything but back to the main menu. Is think it is permanently broken for me.

Thank you for the response! Unfortunately even though I followed your advice I am still experiencing the issue.

Would doing a factory reset be the next option?

Has anyone else experienced this?

My Xbox is set to not have a profile signed into it when it is turned on. When I try to navigate the home screen menus it will tab left once to the menu on the left that allows you to choose a profile to sign in, check messages, ect. But if I hit left again
(it does it both with thumb sticks and d pad) it acts like I hit the A button instead, which kicks me back to the home screen. If I hit right it launches the my game/apps management page. From there if I hit any button, if I do anything, like try launching
an app or game it just kicks back to the home screen like I hit the home button.

This glitch feels like a controller issue but I tried multiple controllers. I did a hard reset (hold xbox power until it shuts dow, unplug for 20 seconds) for each controller used and ran into the problem each time. I also reset the controllers and re-synched
them with the Xbox. Both these controllers have the messenger pad installed on them, I don't know if that would cause this glitch.

My Xbox is a day one edition, could it be an issue cause it's the oldest of the Xbox ones? (I hope not! I love my Xbox!)

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test
the results.

I looked, and the achievements are showing up in the xbox menus, they just disappeared in the mass effect 2 game "achievements" game menu. You're probably right about it being an in game glitch. Thanks!

Hi, try a hard reset (press the power button for 10 seconds, then start it again).

I assume you have already tried other controllers.
