Glitch when redeeming a code

Hey Alex!

I had a problem like this once before. Take a look at the below link, and if it still doesn’t solve your problem (I don’t expect it will) use the “Contact Us” button at the bottom of the page. You should be able to give them the serial number on the card
and they should be able to sort it out.

Did you verified if also with glitches the code was redeemed in you account? You can check from account/order history

I checked it isn’t redeemed

You can request a new code and I suppose that the procedure will also check the one you're using now. Follow this:

Yeah but the code isn’t the problem I forgot to mention the exact same thing happened one time before with a code sent by xbox themselves. This was like 2 or so months ago and the code was for like $5 so I didn’t think much of it.

Hmm... that is an issue. I would try reaching back out and reattempting. No one likes losing money, and I’m sure they are still working the issue, but holiday hours are always tough on everyone. If you have a ticket number or a system generated reply email,
I would definitely lead with that. I sincerely believe this issue can be resolved and that you aren’t the first person to experience this glich.

I would suggest adding a backup payment method (credit or debit card) to update the billing information on your Microsoft account and then you can remove the payment method if you do not wish to keep it on there. You can also try updating the billing

If you need further assistance I recommend speaking with a live agent over phone to look over your account with you: Here is the best steps to get a callback option:

1. https://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us.
2. Select Contact Us.
3. Select "Account & profile" in the first drop-down and then "I need a Microsoft account" in the second drop-down
4. If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to log in to your Microsoft Account at this point.
5. Once logged in, scroll down in the window to Other options and select Request a Call.
6. You can add additional information at this point if you'd like and then select Request call
7. A new window will open for you to enter your Country/region and your best contact number, then select Confirm and you'll be placed in a queue to receive a call back from Customer Support
