    Glitch in system led to £50 going on the wrong account help!!


    Warning to all!

    So on tuesday we got £50 code off amazon. Both me and my husband were signed in.

    My husbands account is lead on the console, he was in full control, had put his passcode in to access the buying of the game, his avatar was showing in the top left hand corner yet still the money ended up in my account (which I hardly ever use online
    now) .

    Contacted MS straight away who logged it as an error and said 48 hours for it to be resolved. Nothing has happened so contacted them today to be told they can't transfer the credit all they can do is leave it on my account or put it towards my live
    subscription! I have requested a call from a senior member of the team.

    What TV are you playing on, something fancy?

    I've got a 50" Seiki LED tv that I have my whole theater system and gaming system run into.

    Was going to buy gold so I can play with my buds. But When I click to go gold it says it's a glitch in the system, just wondered if it's something wrong with my account or something with Xbox.com. Thanks.

    Well Jason the "escalation's team supervisor" says there is nothing thy can do. We can't escalate any higher than him (does that mean he is in charge of everything I wonder?) and are we happy with the service Microsoft has provided?? He advises if we are
    not satisfied to write a letter to their legal team. I long for the days when customer service and loyalty meant something.

  5. Can you not buy the game? You have the resources so just buy it and a small part of the problem is solved. It can be frustrating finding the right person to talk to or getting problems sorted ... you have my sympathy.

    Can you not buy the game? You have the resources so just buy it and a small part of the problem is solved. It can be frustrating finding the right person to talk to or getting problems sorted ... you have my sympathy.

    New TV for Xbox One.

    I have a 50" Panasonic plasma and it has a great picture for everything. And no burn in from the newer plasmas. My mother in law has a 55" sharp led and mine has a much better picture. But again, based on size, if you get anything below a 50", I'd go with
    led. Anything above, plasma.

    So I'm going to reiterate what a lot of people have said already with my own opinion. To me, it depends on what size TV you're getting. Anything under 50 or maybe even 42, I'd say go with a LED. Anything bigger, go plasma, as the burn in is a thing of the
    past. I have a 50" Panasonic plasma and it's gorgeous. My mother-in-law has a 55" LED and it's picture isn't anywhere near as good as my plasma. Also, the motion blur is really bad on her tv and it's 120hz.
