    I've never owned or even used an XBox, and I've never had an XBox live account, but I receive email notices of "xbox live enforcement action." This concerns me. Last time it happened I was able to contact someone at MS, and they verbally confirmed that it was due to a bug of some sort, and that I need not be concerned. But here it is happening again. I am concerned the issue will indeed damage my Microsoft 365 account reputation down the line. Contents of email are concatenated herein below. The link in the notification points to the following Microsoft xbox URL: https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-US/alerts/notifications/accounttampering/

    I need the issue resolved once and for all with a confirmation in writing (email is fine) that I neither have an Xbox Live account, nor any such enforcement actions on record for any Microsoft account.

    Thanks. Note that I only have a Microsoft 365 account, nothing else.

    Since you do not own any Xbox account, I would guess it is just a bug indeed as the Microsoft representative mentioned.

    However, I would advise you to check out again with the support, as they're the only ones that have access to your account, as no one here in the Forums does!

    They can verify that for you!

    Well recently I got an email telling me that enforcement actions have been applied on my Xbox live account but when I log on my Xbox I get no message on what I am limited to. It seems as though I am not getting enforcement actions when it said I was in the email. Is this a glitch?

    log in to the following site with the account affected, it should state what for but may not specifically say the actual offense, could be a communication band which could be swearing, threatening etc. they never give a specific due to people trying to
    find a way round it.

    Thank you. I was wanting/hoping for a detailed report as I am not sure how I am going to address the issue if I dont know exactly what he did. I am almost positive if he knows what he did he is not going to offer the information to me as it would get him
    in trouble. I guess i do understand the policy to avoid pushback but in my position I would appreciate the information so i could address the situation appropriatly. Again, thank you for responding as i spent a lot of time on the site trying to find details.
