Giving out Titanfall for free to new adopters feels like a massive slap in the face :/

Ripp my pc boots up faster than 12 seconds from total off. The ps4 boots up very fast as well. I shouldn't have to leave my x1 on in spy mode just so I don't have to wait all day for it to boot up. I also shouldn't have to monitor apps bc ms want a them
all to stay open. That's bad UI design which just proves my point.

Pre ordered day 1, got a black box and an achievement. New adopters get Titanfall ?

Europe got fifa at launch, North American got nada. Figured it was a pricing differential balance attempt. But the free Titanfall deal to late adopters is a slap in the face. In Canada we don't even have One Guide support for TV yet. If I had waited 4 months,
I would be getting the reason I purchased Xbox One for free. Can I trade my achievement or black cardboard box in for the digi copy? I cannot see anyone not feeling the same. Feel like Nov 22ers got a raw deal.

I bet most of the people who are seen complaining are just Sony ponies trying to spin MS as being the most evil company in existence.

 

Bottom line is that MS is the losing badly and will NOT catch sony. They need to regroup quickly just to stay on top of the wiiu. If sony had 10 million ps4's available in North America they would have sold everyone one of them while Microsoft can't move
any of the FULL stock sitting on shelves everywhere.

To be very honest I think the demand has dropped for both consoles in the last month or so but I do expect it to pick up once more games are released.

Where I live over the last 2-3 weeks I've seen loads of Xbox One, PS4 sitting on the shelfs in places like Sainsbury, Tesco. My local GAME you have been able to walk in and buy either since late January.

I took a trip to London just under a week ago, same story there, I could have easily got either console, no-where was short of stock.

 

Ive seen plenty of both in Aus aswell just spread out. One shop will have 3 PS4's on a shelf no X1's next shop opposite. But still easy to pick up both. I nearly picked up a WiiU the other day. I started playing a sonic game in store and i was hooked. I
walked away eventually

 

Im hearing early adopters will receive an hd remake of urban champion made by rare. Will sport 900p & run @ 220hz as a thank you

 

to me its shows that titanfall will not be the game we are hoping for, if your game was brilliant why offer it for free.

they should have took out kinect and sold console at a price lower than ps4, then many would have bought titanfall anyway, marketing men at MS are stupid

 

ok let us think about this D4... they get a $60.00 game for free.. well a retail price of $60.00.. Internal cost is about $15.00 as it is a digital code... NOW.. take it that TF is an ONLINE only game... you need XBL just to play it .... OK now let us play
with these numbers...

Loss on TF $15-$60

Gain on Console $499

Gain on yearly XBL sub $75ish

+1 for gaining a NEW owner to purchase more....

Now that we have this all settled...

I am sure ANY business will trade a $20-$60 loss for a possible $600+ gain

BTW.. in advertisement... what do you think it costs to run a TF add only... on 5 gaming websites? Possibly...$25K per site... by having this deal... the store promoted the game itself... for NO advertisement out of pocket costs... and guess what....
the included deal alone has already sold (My personal guess) 500K units

500,000 units @ 650 each = $32,500,000 (Just for TITANFALL)
