Giving bad rep

The issue here isn't banning the issue here is bad reps for what ever reason, by your peers, Now its easy for you to say that its well deserved until of course it happens to you, an it can, if someone doesn't like you for the sake OF not liking you then
its a Bad Rep, or if they don't like your game style or skill level than its a bad rep, try digging yourself out of that hole when you cannot get matched up with anyone anymore, segregation an prejudice that is what it all boils down to. Not Enforcement.

 

Don't you just know it, I asked in the forza forum why I got banned and I explained why I did what I did, yet even putting my case across to the community and my opinion about the game. The forza forum banned me from their website till 2041 for having an
opinion.

As for the game clips they were automatic games clips that were recorded when I started playing the game which I disabled 6 months ago.

I'll just get my rep back up, should be quite easy. I hope you get to experience the same situation as me. maybe sooner than you think.

No, you were not banned there for asking a question. You were banned for spamming the forums with the same topic after moderators told you to stop.

 

If your peers are reporting you on a regular basis, then I don't think it's a good idea to keep playing with them.

It's practically impossible for anyone to get suspended or banned from other gamers that are simply reporting them out of spite, since the enforcement team investigates every report and ONLY takes action against an individual if proof is found that a violation
of the Xbox Live Code of Conduct or Terms of Use has occurred.

If numerous people from the same game all report you at once for the same thing, all of their reports get lumped into a single report. This helps prevent unscrupulous individuals who might try to abuse and manipulate the system that is in place with a group
of friends. In order for a person to take a hit to their reputation, they would have to be reported multiple times over the course of several weeks, by completely different people, for the same thing, across numerous online play sessions.

The enforcement team, at a glance, can see:

What was reported.

Who reported it.

Who was reported.

If the two individuals played together.

How long they played together.

What game they played together.

What mode they were playing together.

A comment from the person leaving the report.

Their uploaded clips.

Their messages.

Their friends, favorites, followers, and recent players.

Their profile (avatar, gamerscore, achievements, etc.).

Which console they're on (down to the serial number).

If their console, game, or accessories was modded in some way.

...and so on.

NOTHING you do on Xbox Live is considered private to the enforcement team and others who help run and maintain Xbox Live with the sole exception of something that might be said in party chat or through Skype.

I find that some people, particularly in the U.S., think that just because they're online, that they can hide behind a mask of anonymity and do whatever you want. Some have even confided in me the erroneous belief that they have freedom of speech. Let me
assure you, if you're one of those ignorant people, Xbox Live is a multinational service offered (mostly) world-wide by a company, not the U.S. government - as such, you are expected to follow their rules for as long as you use their service. It's a privilege
and you are not simply entitled to it; instead, you have to earn that privilege by behaving in a way and manner that they expect of you.

OF course I don't mean "my" peers, they are everyone's peers, your confusing reporting with avoid, they are both different things, one is a personal judgment call not to want to play with a certain player for what ever reason, an one is for breaking rules
an coc, having my rep being decided by anyone who wants to take the time is OR has a personal grudge OR simply doesn't like the fact that I'm not a team player or I'm not wearing a mic is wrong, an puts my multiplayer gamming experience to NO multiplayer experience,
an I pay for GOLD an I pay for extra items from a game like BF4, like premium, now I cant play it, that's FAIR??

 

ThievishGuide3, and what exactly was your reputation dropped for? I highly doubt your reputation dropped for being "Quiet". Because, I play in a party when I am by myself all the time. My reputation has not dropped.

The new reputation system is designed to be resilient and to prevent abuse from other users. There are a number of protections put in place to ensure that other users are not unfairly affecting your reputation score.

 

What gets me is that there are 2 other levels before hitting Red "Avoid Me" status. They saw their status dropping and chose to ignore it.

A light green level which is defined as "A user whose reputation score has fallen due to many reports of bad behavior over the course of many gaming sessions."

and an orange level which is defined as "A user whose reputation score has continued to fall due to many reports of bad behavior. If this downward trend continues, the user will begin to be matched with only other low-reputation players."

 

I said that earlier Bird125 but more in depth, that perhaps they over looked (regarding abusing the system). It can not be exploited. But abusers just will not take responsibility for their actions.

 

It's naive to believe the system can't and won't be exploited. Anyone who had played any of the big FPS's is probably well aware of the organized griefing that some of the "clans" participate in. There was just another "swatting" incident last week, bunch
of vindictive little kids that when you give them a means to make someone's life miserable they will.

If I were to start playing CoD multiplayer TDM I'm sure I could rack up numerous bad reviews simply because I'm old and slow with a low K/D ratio. Player reviews are subjective so you may see just as many reports for lack of skill as you do for team killing
in certain games.

I agree the vast majority of people that get put in the red will deserve it but.......

The fact that others have already showed you proof and explained that you were IN FACT banned for GOOD REASONS and yet you still deny it, shows your immaturity level. You tried on the forza forums complaining about it, but were outed as being a bad player
and deserving from the rep and the same happened here. How many different forums are you going to go to and lie about what happened before you finally realize that you are the problem

 

@nxtdoc I been trying for days to figure that out, I been trying for days to get the tear 3 Enforcement team to look into this, because I didn't own a xbox one or a 360 since the end of June, only time it was amber was in April then it went to green an
stayed that way up until September, I haven't been able to get on ONE MP game in the past week, OR ever since I bought my new xbox one without Kinect. I have proof of that.

also I already talked to 18004myxbox an they are looking into a possible glitch OR people an it would have to be ALLOT of people all reporting me at once, because clearly on there end it shows I had NO consoles during AUG-SEPT. OR no online activity what
so ever.also worth noting I only have three reports against me in the past 6 months.
