    Given codes getting errors


    i have been given codes for Gears Of War games by a friend. Gears 2 and Judgement downloaded fine...

    Gears 1 and 3 error out repeatedly with "Something happened on our end, try again later" which it's said for 4 days now.

    Spoken to support and they seem to think it's a regional issue as I'm in the UK and the codes are originally from an American Xbox Embassador.

    I've tried entering the codes in the web page, on pc app, smartphone app and of course on my Xbox One.

    Any ideas? I'm fed up up writing the same thing out over and again

    Regional availability can vary, be sure the region of your account is tied to your physical location. As was mentioned by support, it's possible the code was not intended for use in your physical locale.

    I forgot to add this link, the error codes are given for a reason, you may find it handy if you get error codes although not every error code gives a possible solution.

    Do you actually GET an error message? I try entering the details and it just refreshes the page, no error code/ message given :(

    error 0x87e00005 Xbox One S

    I have just checked the error code you have given in the Error search and it did not register the code. There was a similar error code of 0x87e00065 which is given when having issues with installation of games. The solution suggested to uninstall and reinstall.
    Given that it is digital, is there the option to manage the game already and uninstall and reinstall there that you could use?
