If I enable the following setting for a child on my xbox account, will that give them access to use my credit card to make purchases?

I accidentally gave unrestricted access to a child account. Is there a way to manage individual game access for child accounts once access has been given?

Child Accounts Unable to use Gold Membership on Parent Account

Good day,

I have a child account that cannot access the my parent account which has Live Gold membership. Child account trying to purchase a game but it will not allow using the Gold membership price. Also unable to download free games via the Gold membership. Xbox
One is set as the "home" box for both child and parent. So why is it that the child account appears to have no access to Gold?

That is correct.

But I wouldn't recommend giving a child access to your account, as they would be able to make changes to privacy setting, purchase items etc.

and to release purchases on the child account, you need to access their privacy settings and release for purchase.

My suggestion is to create a parent child assignment feature so that you can control not only access but payment options. In other words, when a child wants to buy something it emails/texts the parents account which could automatically approve/bill or reject
without giving access to information that should be private. This should also allow a passkey/additional code for purchases. If they have access to the account (approved or not), you should be able to add a secondary security code as an additional security
measure.

What you need to do is have one of your children with the subscription. They then make the other chipds Xbox, their home Xbox. This then gives the child without live, access to live and any games that have been purchased. The child that has the Xbox live
account, can sign in on the other Xbox and have access to live and all their games.
