Girls on the Xbox

i personally don't have any issues paying with anyone, people can talk, trash talk, scream, eat, play music or whatever, if it bothers me i will just mute and get my game on or if they are totally awful at the game, i don't mind as long as they are trying.

---

however, more times than not, when a girl starts talking then it will effect the game itself, whether she means to or not. most memorable example was a lobby i was in after a few games(i left like the whole lobby was matched pretty well by skill level) a
girl popped up in the lobby and i ended up on her team, 3 other guys with mics on the team started chatting her up before the match started, which was fine, but during the game the 4 of them were camped out in a building for the whole match while myself and
another player(no mic) were getting worked over cause we were the only 2 targets, lost the match, was it her fault or did i blame her, not at all, but that is the kind of affect a girl can have on a game.

2. Not gonna lie... If a girl gamer tag says something that indicates she's a girl, I usually go out of way to kill her >_>

3. When it comes to playing games online, I find it to be a very sociable experience.

I talk to everyone I play with just to get the ball rolling & start making new friends. However, I do understand the importance of concentrating on the game at hand. When I'm in-game, the only socializing I do is game-related - "we've got 2 tangos to the west
in the parking lot" for example, & will usually help to have a better gaming experience by promoting teamwork & working towards the objective/winning.

When I'm in the lobby though, anything goes (within the CoC, of course). If someone says I annoy them or tells me to shut up, then I simply ask them in a kind manner to mute me because it's easy for them to do & I won't mind if they do; I will likewise do the
same to someone else if I find them too annoying or distracting. If someone is outright rude to me, I simply don't respond - I mute them & if I deem their behavior bad enough, I'll block or report them. By not responding to them & taking the appropriate steps,
they can't gain an advantage over me & make things worse.

I find if you follow these simple guidelines, more often then not, you WILL make friends (quickly & easily) while simultaneously avoiding trouble.

In regards to ambassadors, I will only say this: "With great power comes great responsibility." - Uncle Ben; from Spider-Man

I'm a female gamer and I totally agree with you, girls talk way too much! When I play (mostly Battlefield), I only talk game tactics, like where I am, where I saw an enemy and which flag I'm currently taking, or I ask for backup. I mostly play alone, cause
whenever I play with another girl, I can't concentrate. The younger the girls, the more the talk Girls on the Xbox :)
That doesn't make it sexist. You can't even prove that from a single isolated incident. Sure, 1st impressions are important, but it's also where assumptions come into play - a friend once told me, "assumptions are like farts; they stink & nobody
likes them."
Well, the last part's easy - he's my friend. I know from personal, hands on experience while playing with him that this is & was an isolated incident. I've NEVER seen him being rude to other players. In this case, I think it's easy to forgive & forget.
Besides, if all turned out well in the end, why stress yourself out over it?

I think people are defending him because they see a lot of overreacting taking place. They played four matches together (prior to his comment to her), and the girl and her male friend sent him a friend request after they were done. I have a hunch, because
I've experienced the same, that overall they all enjoyed each others company - enough to want to play together, and then befriend each other afterword. That's really what matters, when all is said and done (IMO, in this case).

Next time some of you are harsh with someone, either by the way you speak to them or treat them, remember your comments on this thread.

Girl gamers, please consider reading

You don't find any girls because they are not allowed to put an xbox 360 in the kitchen.

LOL JK.

Why don't you pretend to be a girl, join a girls community, add everyone and then make a girls-only friends list?

It works.

Hi I have a Xbox 360. My daughter wants some games and not sure how I can get some free girly games for her

there is no free games but there are plenty of girl games. just go on amazon and search xbox 360 games for girls and it will list a lot of games designed for young girls, obviously not all but will generally show some.

Better yet guys hate girls that smash their xbox and also the desire to call every girl who plays xbox fat. Makes sense.
