Gigabyte M27Q monitor and Xbox Series X

Hi

To confuse things, Gigabyte have three versions of the M27Q. The M27Q (Rev 1), an M27Q (Rev 2) and the newer M27P.

According to Rtings (A recommended go to for anything TV and Monitor related) they all support the Xbox Series X

I would like to inquire about the recommended budget monitor that costs only $300. Would this monitor be suitable for use with an Xbox Series S/X if I were to upgrade in the future?

Well the Gigabyte M27Q Which is reviewed on the Rtings website should be around $300 in the U.S. At least it was when I checked the US Bestbuy website. I may be slightly out though as I'm British.

I've got a Gigabyte M32U which I use for both work and play and I'm very happy with it.

I'm in Brazil and here it's very difficult to find monitors with hdmi 2.1 in fact they still don't have it, the only one I've seen the sale was for 6k in R$ which is a very high value.

Yeah, I was thinking the same. Probably a new Xbox system update disables the workaround :c
Those kind of things are very common, I think that probably that happen to avoid bug/glitches with enabling that resolution/refresh rate on that monitor

Probably that workaround is not working anymore if you was able to follow the tutorial step by step and it's not working

This is due to physically Xbox needs a 2.1HDMI port to run at 1440p@120Hz
