Gigabit speeds on Xbox One X

Hey guys. I was just wondering if anyone has actually been able to see over like 250Mbps? I had it spike to 400 for a brief second but most times it stays between 150-250 and I have gigabit internet. These speeds are with no other devices connected, no
apps or games running in the background, and wired from my router with nothing else sharing the internet. I also live in a neighborhood where I’m the only one with gigabit service and most houses in the neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods have the 100Mbps
service. I know the Xbox One X says it has a gigabit ethernet port but are Microsofts servers so crap that people trying to download games are limited to 100-200Mbps regardless of the internet service they choose to have?

There's more going on behind the scenes than just connection speeds. Hopefully Xbox has a more consistent solution that provides a closer experience to what people pay when the new Xbox comes out. Everyone always talks about 4K and framerates but it's
also important to be able to download games fast.

Hi, when you're away from the network booth in your area, more people have your same service the more you will be busy. Contact your manager's support, Xbox I think it gets to 300/400 speed

Yiu have to.remember it also depends on the amount of NODES you pass thru

Remember the internet is not all gigabit speed

For all you know you could hit a bottle neck

Assuming you are in the us lets say DC

To connect to lets say im guessing here a download server in texas

You dont go from dc to houstan texas

Thats not how the internet works

You may goto pittsburg then chicago to minisota to kansas then to houstan

If any connection between you ans houstan is slow it will always slow down your speed

You are limited by the bottlenecks between servers aka nodes and how busy they are

There usrd to be a great program that

Showed which nodes your are connecting to before you hit your destination

Yep. Mine fluctuates between 170-250. Actually downloading a game right now for referrance and its going between those speeds steadily. Dont get me wrong thats not bad but I mean I pay for a gig I’d like to be getting close to that through the cable.

I dont have a data cap on how much I use. Mine just always caps out at 220-250.
