Gifting Money to Other Accounts

Okay, so I got a gift card for my birthday, and I wanted to get a XBOX 360 game, but since I can't purchase them on this account, so I used my other account that can purchase 360 games, but to my surprise, you can't buy XBOX 360 games using money from an
XBOX card.

So I wanted to send that money from my other account to this account because I get XBOX LIVE deals on this account, but I can't find out how to send that money to this account.

Someone please help!

Can you gift Xbox Credit?

You actually can gift credit to other people. Not from your account but you can buy credit for people and send it to them...

there really isn't any service that allows gifting because of the potiential abuse because people dont properly protect their accounts

its makes recovery of money alot harder

thats why if you are doing shaddy things like exchanging money you do it on your own with a etailer and take the risk yourself if you get scamed

it is against the rules to exchanges things also it takes up more work for the enforcement team

thats why you use etailers as gifting is not supported on most consoles there is only one console gifting just leads to more scams or making it easier to scam

sorry but i rather not make it easier for scammers and phishers to make money off stealing accounts

Nothing can be transferred between accounts. You can use currency on your account to purchase 360 content, but you do have to use a 360 console.

Money can't be gifted to other accounts.

Buy it as a gift from the account where you have the money and send it to the other account

unfortunately no, it's not possible to transfer money between accounts. But if available you can buy as a gift what you wanted and send it to the other account.

As smwutches mentions, you cannot transfer the money between accounts.

However if I the same region, you can use the money to purchase games as gifts you can redeem on your other account.

Or if you shop at microsoftstore.com you should be able to use your account balance to purchase another gift card to redeem on the correct account. This may vary by region however.
