    So this morning i gifted halo mcc from my xbox to my friends pc, he then redeemed it but the option to download it isnt there. he thinks its because i didnt buy it on steam ( i bought it from the microsoft store on my xbox as a gift for my pc friend) can someone help please? i hope i didnt just blow $40 for nothing

    Since you purchased it on the console, it sounds like you gifted the console version instead of the PC version.
