How have you checked? You should have received an E-mail, maybe an Xbox message with the 25 character code?

and check if the payment went through correctly.

If the payment transaction doesn't show any issues then it's best for your friend to contact Xbox Support via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat at

Firstly try to do a complete shut down of your console. By holding the power button, on the console. Until it completed shuts down. Unplug the console and wait a good few minutes. Plug the console in and start it up.

Alternatively you can try to resync your controller, by tapping the sync button on both the console and the controller.

The exact same for me the last two days it just keeps saying the same thing that it can't play I mean I just payed $20 for a tv series u wanna be able to watch it yet can't Ive tryed numerous things to fix it also but nothing works

I have had the exact same problem, also for about the last 2-3 days, seriously annoying if I hadve known I wouldn’t be able to watch any of the movies I bought i obviously would’ve never bought them, getting ridiculous at this point.
