    Hello everyone.

    I know my question may sound dumb, but I am thinking about gifting a dlc from black ops 3 to a friend. The point is that I live in France and he lives in Wales. Will he be able to redeem the gift or not? (I don't know if it will help but i'll give him "the
    giant" From black ops 3 zombie mode).

    Hopefully someone could help me!

    Gifting is region locked. So he won't be able to use the code since he's not in the same region as you.

    No. You and your friend are in two different regions, so gifts cannot be redeemed from another country. You could purchase an American gift card with the required funds to purchase the add-ons, and give your friend the gift card, so he/she can purchase the add-ons themselves.

    On Xbox One it is possible to gift content to another player. When you select a game or DLC in the store you should see the option to buy the content as a gift that will then send a 25 digit code to your son to redeem.

    Sorry about that! Your friend will need to be the one that handles this, since it is their purchase. Unfortunately, game content cannot be given as a gift when one user is in a different country from another. They can

    request a refund     and see about another way of gifting you the content.
