    Hi there,

    Regrettably, the option to gift 360 games isn't implemented as of yet. I would love to see it happen in future too, although I wouldn't keep my hopes up. Microsoft seem to be moving farther away from 360, along with other less used services like Windows
    Phone games, that have Xbox Live support and achievements.

    Actually it is an awesome idea. As long as it helps Microsoft earn money, they really should not reject it, unless those incompatible managements who have lost track to the gaming market too long and do not know that classing and retro games are actually
    on rolls.

    Unfortunately we aren't able to gift 360 games though, however I would recommend submitting feedback on this topic as many would love the feature and the more we let MS know the better the chances are it'll be implemented!

    So How Do You Gift An Xbox 360 Digital Game On The Console Store?

    Seems that gift games is a Xbox One games geatures only, you can't gift Xbox 360 game... a workaround is gift a 5$ card to your friend.

    Thanks Daft Badger. I didn't realize that Xbox 360 games couldn't be bought with the gift cards. That stinks. There isn't any saying that gift cards can't be used for Xbox 360 backwards compatible games.

    Since you can only purchase the Left 4 Dead games on an Xbox 360 or the Xbox 360 marketplace website, you can only use the gift card on the Xbox 360 to purchase the game, as the Xbox 360 marketplace website does not have the option to pay with the Xbox gift card.

    It's not possible to gift 360 games. Unfortunately it's also not possible to purchase a gift card using funds from your Microsoft account.
