    Gifted game not working


    I recently gifted the new Call of Duty Cold War to a friend, it worked the first few weeks, we were playing it just fine, now its telling him he has to download the full version. He has everything downloaded, I also made sure I gifted him the full version,
    it was $60. He tried re downloading multi-player and zombies and it still won't work.

    Thank you for reaching Microsoft Xbox Forum support. The best option in your friend's case would be to contact our online support to check the account and the license of the game from their end and see what happened. You will find
    below the link to our online support, all you need to do is access it, click on the green button that says "contact us" and take it from there.

    Should be noted that if he isnt from the same region as you the code will not work

    When he gifts you a game you receive a code for the cash or game

    If you arent in the same region it will not work

    And yes gifted currency and games are region locked

    Just to add, when you gift a game it does tell you the game will only work in your region as you input the email address for the person you're sending the gift to.
