Gifted game Code won’t work

You need to be physically located in the US to redeem properly the code.

However, in case you meet these requirements. You may want to ask your friend to refund the game they gifted to you and gift a new one.

The first thing you need to check is if you already had a free trial before on your current account, as the code discord gives isn’t a gift card but a free trial code. If you already previously had a trial of game pass you won’t be able to use this one.

Second, make sure to check description bellow the code discord had given you, they tend to work in only certain region, and this might be another reason your code isnt working

Should be noted that if he isnt from the same region as you the code will not work

When he gifts you a game you receive a code for the cash or game

If you arent in the same region it will not work

And yes gifted currency and games are region locked

You unfortunately won’t be eligible for a refund since the code has already been redeemed and there’s no way to cancel that. Your brother would need a Series X|S console to play it.
