Gifted Game Code not working

Should be noted that if he isnt from the same region as you the code will not work

When he gifts you a game you receive a code for the cash or game

If you arent in the same region it will not work

And yes gifted currency and games are region locked

The $10 gift codes have to be used at microsoftstore.com. If you were purchasing a game directly from Xbox, the code will not work on that system.

Sorry for the confusion gifting your friend this code.

As stated by StuartATrueRed, now that the code has been redeemed, there is exists no means for you to transfer that redeemed currency to your friends account.

That being said, if you do want to get your friend something, you can try to gift that specific digital item directly to your friend.

You must be in thr same region as the receiver for the code to work or purchase it from another etailer in the correct region

Prepaid codes are region locked do are gifted games

As the other mentioned origins is no longer available and gifting an game you already own is anothrr purchase not transfering a game
