    Gifted game code does not work


    I gifted a game, Watchdogs Unlimited, and the person who received the code tells me that they receive an error when the attempt to enter the code. How can this be resolved.

    "Something went wrong. Read the instructions that came with the code". No instructions came with the code. The code came by microsoft message and just said "Redeem the code". We tried pressing the "Redeem code" button and we tried to enter the code
    by hand. Both produce the same error message.

    When you gift a game and are entering the other user's email, it does warn you that the code will only work in your region.
