    Gift/Transferring Money


    I’ve searched for some time now and can’t quite find an answer. I own two Xbox Ones, mine and my son’s. Ive got money on my Xbox. Is there a way I can use that money to purchase a game for him? Or a way to send that money to his system? I don’t want to have
    to spend more, when the funds are not being used on another system.

    If you buy the game on your account and then set his console as your Home, he can access it (along with any other games on your account) but otherwise, nothing can be transferred between accounts.

    You can gift games to users, but there are some restrictions, which can be found
    here.

    If your son is in your
    Microsoft family    , you can add money to his account so he can shop. Steps on how to that can be found here.

    Hello, once the money is added to an account unfortunately it cannot be transferred to another account. In the future please be mindful of what account money or games are being added to. You can also look into her gifting you the money back or buying what ever you want from the store as a gift purchase.

    Regional locked sadly you cannot gift to others in different areas. It's due to transfer of money from what I heard.
