Gift sharing to other users

I bought a gift for my friend nhl 23 and he had and now today he no longer has it

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Did you purchase this through Microsoft Store? If yes, please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders and check the status of the transaction, Dan. Make sure that it's not refunded.

Once confirmed that it's okay on your end, ask your friend to follow the steps below:

"Go to Profile & system > Settings > Account > Payment & billing > Order History"

Once your friend confirmed that it's redeemed under the correct account, ask him to remove and re-add his account on the Xbox console.

" REMOVE ACCOUNT

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.

4. When you're finished, select Close.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

ADD ACCOUNT

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select Add new.

3. Enter the Email address and the password.

4. Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept.

5. Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In & Security preferences to add your Microsoft account to your Xbox console."

Hello!

You are only able to share Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass with other users in a Xbox set as your home Xbox. You cannot share Gold or Game Pass with other consoles (but if you sign up in any Xbox with your account, you still have Gold and Game Pass, but other
users on that Xbox can't get it)

If you want to buy a game for one of your sons, and he don't play in the "home" Xbox, you have the "Buy as gift" option in the Store when you are going to buy a game.

And, the card is an Xbox gift card or which type of kard is the one you have?

You can always share a picture, but make sure to cover the code and other important information

Hey there AsimOzcan,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forums, Unfortunately there is no way to actually gift directly from your game library. You can always purchase a game as a Gift and this way it will send the license to the game directly to the other users account.

One thing you are able to do would be to share the game with the other user by using the Home Xbox feature. You can find more information and how to set this up by following the steps on the support article linked below.
