    Hello, I received a gift from a friend who lives in Canada, and I live in the u.s., it says to contact the seller to receive a code that works. how do I do that or what do I need to do to get a working gift code for the game.

    Gifting through Xbox is region locked. Your friend would need to refund the purchase and repurchase from a site that sells US codes.

    Gifting is region locked. Your friend could try getting a refund and see if he can buy a code from a different retailer that would work in Canada.

    You should only gift Canadian friends. For me, if I was in the US, I should only gift those friends from that country.
