    Bought the Rise of the Tomb Raider game physically for the Xbox 360 last week, got the Season Pass for the game and the DLC provided by the pass. Opened some of the gift packs provided by the DLC just fine, but others ones won't open and instead present
    a message saying that they have already been opened and are now pending, re-enter the marketplace. Nothing happens though, more than a week has gong by and the packs won't open and I can't get the cards contained within the packs. I have already checked the
    Endurance and Cold Darkness modes, but the cards specific to those modes are not present almost certainly due to the fact that those gift packs are among those that keep spitting out that message. The game is fully updated and I am connected to Xbox Live during
    the time that I am trying to open these packs. As before, other gift packs work just fine, it's just some of them with the issue.

    I have already posted about this issue on the Square Enix forums for the game and only got a response that someone else was having the same issue. I have also contacted the Square Enix support but they continue to try and fob off the issue and say that I
    need to contact Xbox Live support. Seems more likely that the game company would be more likely to be able to help with the issue but figured it was worth a shot in any case. It would be nice if I would actually have the full function of the content that I
    paid for, but that seems to be far too much to ask for anymore.

  2. Gifts?!?!?!

    I purchased a gift for my friend that lives in another country (Canada) and when she opened it, the message read that she was unable to accept the gift, and that she needed to contact the seller in order to receive a code because it was purchased in a different
    region. Why is this a thing????

    It is currently 3:01 AM in my region, and 12:01 AM in hers. We are unable to directly contact Microsoft to resolve this issue because all call centers are apparently closed.

    How is she supposed to receive her gift if no one can be contacted, and why is it necessary to take these extra steps when I'm simply trying to send a digital game, bought directly from the Xbox itself???

    Your immediate attention will be greatly appreciated in this matter.

  3. Rise of the Tomb Raider cannot redeem cards

    Hello. Posting here to register as another player with this problem. I am using an Xbox One. I've completed the game and opened all card packs more or less as they were put in the "Gifts" tab of the marketplace, even though I wasn't doing any Expedition
    mode playing. I noticed a "play this weekend and get a gift" and think I redeemed that; I am not sure if that was before or after installing Baba Yaga. Anyway, a day or two after that last redemption I noticed a gift was available; [PROBLEM ONE] every time
    I try to open it I am told it's already been opened. I then bought a load of bronze packs to get the "belong in a museum" achievement, no problem although it was a bit weird because the number of cards noted in expedition mode is only 260. Since doing a
    couple of Replay Elite expeditions, gift card packs have started appearing in marketplace but [PROBLEM TWO] I get a message that there's a problem redeeming the cards and to try again later. What's the problem? This seems very common. Is a fix on the way?

    Sorry to hear about that. You are correct in saying that this would be an issue to contact the developer regarding the in game content. If the game was not launching or a purchase is unable to be completed, we would be able to look into those issues for

  5. Ha, Square Enix is washing their hands of any problems with their games. Just read this on their support pages:

    "Please note that Square Enix is only providing limited support for warranty issues only at this time. You will have to contact
    Xbox Support if you are experiencing one of the following issues:

    - Platform or console issues, such as network connectivity or Xbox Live

    - Store or Purchase issues for the game and/or DLC and virtual currency

    - Problems downloading the game and/or DLC

    - Code redemption problems"

    So SE is saying that only Microsoft can help with issues on the SE servers on a game that was developed for multiple platforms including Microsoft's competitor, Sony.

  7. Already tried that, and got no major help there either. One member said he would speak to a higher up and get back to me, but I have received no further communication from him in about a week. Was told what I expected though: Microsoft can't help with this
    since it seems to be something with the Square Enix servers, despite what Square Enix saying about Microsoft needing to provide help.
