Gift order refund

Hi

I bought a windows 10 minecraft subscription as a gift for my daughter. When I try and redeem the code I get an error message about the region. I am trying to cancel this for a refund so I can repurchase it for the correct region but am getting nowhere. I spoke to Microsoft support yesterday who told me to go to Xbox.com/refund but the purchase does not show up there as "I gifted someone a game". When I click on the link to "return the gifted item for a refund" it takes me back to my order with no option to cancel/request a refund.

Can someone please tell me how to get a refund!

The billing number for refund it is my game that I've purchased. Where do I find the order number for the gift to select for refund?

Hey thanks for the advice - can't see the game on her Xbox /Microsoft account either though to request a refund!

When did you purchase this gift? If you go to your order history page, there should be a 'Refund information' option on the gift purchase.
