Discus and support Gift DLC to friend in another country in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Destiny 2 dlc is on sale and I wanted to gift a friend them but they are in the US and I am in Canada,, can they redeem the gift somehow?...     Destiny 2 dlc is on sale and I wanted to gift a friend them but they are in the US and I am in Canada,, can they redeem the gift somehow?

    No. You and your friend are in two different regions, so gifts cannot be redeemed from another country. You could purchase an American gift card with the required funds to purchase the add-ons, and give your friend the gift card, so he/she can purchase the add-ons themselves.

    Gifting through Xbox is region locked. So you cannot send a gift to a friend in another country. You would have to purchase it from another retailer for that country.

    Unfortunately you can't gift games if your friend lives in a different country. He will have to either gift to another friend in the US or request a refund. It does state at purchase that gifting is only available in the same country.

    Gifting is region locked. So he won't be able to use the code since he's not in the same region as you.
