    Gift code not redeemable in different region


    I bought a gift for a friend in a different region and there was no warning anywhere that the code would not be redeemable.

    What do I do now? How do I go about getting a refund or how do they go about getting a refund?

    The gift was the the icons of war dlc pack for Halo Wars 2.

    Hello!

    Gifts are set up by region and will not be redeemable if it was purchased from a different region. Changing consoles region to another region falsely will not change the outcome. The only option would be to have the person that purchased the gift to attempt
    to reverse the purchase of the gift as the code will not be able to be redeemed in a different region. Refund Webform

    Since you're on a different region, it's not possible for you to redeem the gift code in your location because it came from another region. Gift cards or gift codes have geo-restriction and can only be redeemed to the same region where it was originating.

    how do you redeem the code from my friend that live in different region.
    You cant. Your friend will have to request a refund for the code and purchase a code for you that is meant for your region.

    I want to refund a minecraft bundle bought as a gift code in a not supported region.

    When my friend tries to activate the gift code, it says "This code can't be redeemed. It was purchased in a different region from your account."
