    He's going to have to refund it and find another etailer to buy a code from your own region

    Gifting is region locked. There is no way around that. Your friend can request a refund and then try purchasing a code from another site that offers a code that would work in your region.

    Hello!

    Gifts are set up by region and will not be redeemable if it was purchased from a different region. Changing consoles region to another region falsely will not change the outcome. The only option would be to have the person that purchased the gift to attempt
    to reverse the purchase of the gift as the code will not be able to be redeemed in a different region. Refund Webform

    You must be in thr same region as the receiver for the code to work or purchase it from another etailer in the correct region

    Prepaid codes are region locked do are gifted games

    As the other mentioned origins is no longer available and gifting an game you already own is anothrr purchase not transfering a game
