    I recently bought a $25 gift card for the xbox one. When i went to purchase a dlc originally on the 360, i couldn't pay with the money in my microsoft accout. Is there a way to fix this? Or is this something that can only be fixed on Microsoft's end? Can
    you guys add the option to pay using gift cards and money in microsoft account on backwards compatible games?

    It would be something Microsoft would have to add. Currently the only way to purchase backwards compatible content with funds from a gift card is by making the purchase on a 360.

    Unfortunately the only way to purchase backwards compatible content on the One is via a credit card or Paypal. The only way to use funds from an Xbox gift card would be to make the purchase on a 360 console.

    You need a credit card or Paypal in order to purchase backwards compatible content on the One. A debit card would be seen as credit.

    Funds from an Xbox gift card will not work on the One, but will work if you make the purchase from a 360 console.
