    yobrizo is correct with this. You cannot gift a game to someone in a different country/region than you. If you want to gift a game to someone in a different country, you best bet would be to either purchase a physical copy and send that to them, or purchase
    a gift card for their country/region, and email them the code, then they can purchase the game themselves.

    No it won't work and potentially it can cause more problems. I suggest that your friend should send you the money with Paypal an the you will use them to buy what you need. It, much safer that way!

    Hi, if you are sent a digital game code, I doubt it would work, however Microsoft have introduced "BUY A GIFT" as an option. Your friend is able to purchase the gift and send it directly to your email / gamertag as a message :)
