Gift cards are junk, don't buy them

This is the third and last time I buy Xbox gift cards for my son. They never work. Last time I called I had to put a ticket in for them to research why money wasn't being posted. It took days and finally demanded they just pay me. Magically money did apply
after I told them to.

Now I have $30 worth of useless gift cards, same issue and a boy in tears. I'm so over this. Not happy and will be thrilled to switch him to Sony. Unacceptable service and products. thanks for nothing.

I went and Bought $30 Worth of XBOX Gift Cards to Buy the Games.... But After Putting them in My Account..... XBOX STATED .... YOU CAN'T USE XBOX FUNDS TO BUY PRODUCTS ... USE ANOTHER FORM OF PAYMENT... So.... I had to Use PayPal.... To Buy the Games I wanted.....
MICRO-JUNK ... HAS SOME **** IDEAS ..... AND RULES .....ALL FOR THEM.... and SCREW THE USER ......

Microsoft Point Expire?

Ok... I want to buy a 4000 msp gift card, but obviously their ending. 1. Can i still purchase the points and use them to buy things that say to purchase with currency? 2. Do they have local currency gift cards? 3. Are the prices for currency gift cards
equal to prices of msp point cards? (eg, 4000 msp cost $60.00, will they have $60.00 gift cards?)

When you say they never work is it giving you any sort of error message when you try and input them in like:

Inactive- When a card is purchased at a retail store their system has to activate the card for it to know that the card was actually purchased this can take up to 24 hours for their system and microsofts system to link together saying it needs to activate
this card. If this is the error message you get and it has been over 24 hours you would need to contact the retailer and get them to activate the card.

Invalid: Means that one of the 25 characters you are inputting is not correct. Keep in mind that with these cards Bs can look like 8s 5s can look like a S

Now if the code is entered in and it says it went through and its still not showing on his account then you want to make sure that wherever you are entering the code in that you are signed in with his account and not another account.

If you contact xbox support by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us and give them the code they can look up the code and determine what account that the code was entered on Now once a code is used on an account if its used on the wrong account it can not
be transferred to a different account.

If you don't have a CC, just buy a bunch of xbox gift cards and add them to your account

Hi RickArnold1,

You cannot use a gift card to buy another gift card. Such as Xbox. As it don't work that way. You have to either have physical money (like a credit card) to buy things on the Xbox store or buy an Xbox gift card in the stores.

Again, you cannot do it with a gift card
