    My son accidentally scratched the code off his store bought gift card. It says on the website to contact xbox support to redeem a damaged code but the virtual support has been unsuccessful and there is no email....any help appreciated....

    Gift cards cannot be used to purchase gift cards. The Microsoft account balance is essentially the same as a gift card since funds typically come from Xbox gift cards.
