    Don't ever purchase gift cards offered by the Microsoft store unless you want to be ripped off. The real money you give them for gift cards is not even close to the value of products you can receive back. Example: Forza Motorsport 6 on sale from the microsoft
    store for $39.95 for the physical game mailed to you that if you want can resell. If you want to use your gift card to purchase a the game you can only purchase the digital game that you cannot resell and maybe charged for the download from your ISP is $74.95.
    Does this make any sense to anyone? I bought $150 worth of gift cards to keep in my account for game purchases instead of using my credit card on each purchase. The first time I went to use them I bought COD Black Ops 3 for $59.00 that I thought would be taken
    off my $150 account money. To my surprise my credit card was charged instead.

    Thinking this was a mistake by them I contacted support and they initially said they were sorry for their error and would fix it for me. After over an hour with chat support they said they couldn't do anything and I needed to call the Microsoft stores sales
    accounts department which they gave me the number for. Again they initially said they were sorry and would fix the problem. After another hour+ and a so called supervisor they said the gift cards were only for digital downloads and it was in their Terms of
    use fine print somewhere and when I asked where I could find that info they disconnected me. I called back and again was disconnected when I asked where I could find that info. On the 3rd call they said it had been explained to me and there is nothing more
    they can.... get this ... HELP ME WITH..... Help ME? Where ? When? all I can see is they helped themselves to my cash and have lied about their mysterious Terms of Use Policies. Never ever trust this company with your cash and never ever buy the phoney gift
    certificates unless you want to be ripped off!

    Hi Xbox.

    I'm an Italian guy who is about to get into the game by opening up a company.

    I would like to specialize in selling gift cards. Most importantly, there are the Xboxlive Gift Cards.

    I would like more information on prices. The funds I do not miss so my purchases would always be for tens of thousands

    of euro but I would like to understand a little better that margins are there.

    Specifically, I'm interested in small cuts in both EUR and $.

    gifted code from xbox live app is for another region

    Hello...sorry to say but if a gifted gift code is from another region you wont be able to use it at all or convert it. When a person is purchasing the gift card it does warn them about the different region possibility and what can happen. Sorry you are
    currently experiencing this.

    Do you mean redeeming multiple.gift cards or just one?

    If just one thwn the limit is probably due to fraud

    Most scammers asks for gift cards for payment and yes people are adamant about following thru with a payment even if they are warned if it's a scam

    (Case in my own town this lady tried to buy 1500 dollars worth of gift cards it was flagged by the manager at the apple store she was warned multiple times that Its a scam but she wanted to save her son from a jail in china .so the manager proccess everything slowly and The police showed up along with her son that was supposrd to have been arrested in china true story the manager saved her 1500 dollars )

    There is limits on redemption but usually about the amount of cards you redeem and total per day

    Back when gifting was allowed from.your ms points people.used to pay people to cheat but ended up getting scammed

    Hi, I have tried a few methods,

    I have tried on a couple of occasions attaching my credit card to the child account, ironically with all the warnings that then pop up ("you will not be able to prevent purchases from this account") and trying to pay from there.

    I have also tried to pay over a gift amount by paying from my own account (not ideal as it will leave a spare £2 on her account which she won't then be using) - my PayPal account is linked to my account already, and I have tried attaching my credit card
    also - but again I get the exact same warning when I try to buy the gift amount. My PayPal account and credit cards are all in good standing, in case that gets suggested, and are in normal active use.

    Your parents have to address amazon as previously mentioned

    They are their own merchant

    Keep in mind buying a bunch of prepaid gift cards could trigger a fraud warning

    It's a popular scam tactic which merchants watch for

    Usually with itunes gift cards

    The reason why they have large gift card purchases flagged is to prevent scams

    Like the IRS SCAM or the various versions like cerb am

    People still fall for it or their son is about to be locked up and they need to pay in iTunes over a not so good connection (yes that'd is still a thing)

    Thousands of victims every year lose millions total

    Best bet do one purchase or space it oiut

    It's never a good idea to make multiple purchases of the same item.

    It could be the merchant watching for scam victims or your creditcard and yes fraud warnings do trigger on multiple same purchases

    And yes victims can be insistant

    Gift cards cannot be used to purchase gift cards. The Microsoft account balance is essentially the same as a gift card since funds typically come from Xbox gift cards.
