    Can I apply my gift card balance towards my xbox live payment? I redeemed the balance of a card and it went to my account where I was purchasing a game. The gc balance was not applied to the purchase.

    You will need to try to add your account balance as a payment method to your subscription. Is this a Xbox Live Gold subscription?

    Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services.

    See your subscription there and click on Manage.

    You will see your payment methods.

    Click on change and see if you can add your account balance as the primary payment method.

    Hi Conor! This is possible. You can redeem an Xbox Gift Card, and then use that gift card's value to purchase V-Bucks in-game.
