Gift card refund

Discus and support Gift card refund in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I bought a gift card from a gas station and when I scratched off the code it took off two letters.     I bought a gift card from a gas station and when I scratched off the code it took off two letters. And they won’t let me get a refund and I don’t know how to do the Xbox support

    Refund an Xbox digital Gift Card

    I haven't encountered any company that doesn't refund gift cards and Microsoft itself refunds Microsoft Store gift cards, it's only Xbox gift cards that seem to be non-refundable for reasons no one can explain to me. Guess I'm just screwed :(

    Please refrain from creating multiple threads regarding the same issue. But are you asking about refunding the gift card or the content bought with the gift card?

    If a gift card is redeemed, it can't be refunded. It would be up to the retailer you purchase it from as to if it can be refunded otherwise.

    From what I gather, you want to refund your gift cards. Gift cards can not be refunded after they have been redeemed. Thanks :)

    Walmart would be the only ones who could possibly refund it, since that's where you purchased them, but it's pretty common that gift cards (not just Xbox gift cards) are non-refundable.
