Gift Card Redeemed but on wrong location

in my xbox account settings , Location was set to United States.

But my Location is UAE

so when I redeemed the gift card the balance was not added to my current balance.

It is available in USA

so how can I use that balance or move it to my main location

Sorry to hear it. A gift card does not change it's currency based on where you live. If the card you redeemed was posted to your account in US currency then that's the card that was given to you. I would recommend contacting the seller to see if there's
anything they can do to help.

I recently redeemed two $25 Xbox gift cards on my laptop on the Microsoft store. The problem right now is that those cards are in my location. However, the Xbox locations list does not have my location, which means that I do not have access to the money. Please help!

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear about the issue with redeeming the gift card on the wrong account.

What type of gift card was it? (Currency/Subscription)

Unfortunately, if the gift card is for Microsoft Currency you will not be able to transfer or refund. The funds will get attached to the account it was redeemed on.
