    Gift Card Not working


    I recently redeemed a gift card for my Xbox one. After I redeemed the gift card there was a message that popped up saying that my balance was increased by the amount on the card. But after that when I tried to purchase a game it said that my Microsoft account balance was the amount before I redeemed the gift card. I have no Idea why this happened and when I try to redeem the gift car again it says that the card was already redeemed. Can someone please explain to me what happened or what I can do to get my money.

    Gift cards will only work in the region they were created for. There is no way to change the region of a gift card.

    Microsoft gift cards only work with the Microsoft Store. Just like Amazon gift cards only work with Amazon, and Apple with their products only.

    EA access is only working with special ea access gift cards which afaik are not released yet. Usual microsoft gift cards are NOT working!

    If i live in canada and buy a digital xbox gift card can .y girlfriend use it in yhe USA?

    Gift cards will only work in the region they are created for. If you can find a way to buy a US digital gift card from where you are, then that would work for her, but Canadian cards will not.
