    GIFT CARD ISSUE


    i bought 2 £10 gift cards for two accounts, i tried to redeem them and it went into investigation (this was when Microsoft had some issues). i did it again later today and it said i have redeemed them already, i check my order history and it said
    that i put £0.00 onto the account. I went back to the store where I bought them from and they said get in touch with Microsoft. Has anyone had this issue as well.

    Hi there.

    Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done by Microsoft in terms of redeemed gift cards. You will need to take the gift cards back to the retailer where you purchased them from and explain the issue. They may issue a new gift card or refund your purchase.

    And yes people do switch regions to try and gain access to free content

    As smwutches mentioned part of verification includes verifying who you are

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    First, check and validate your Microsoft balance by signing in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments, make sure that it's showing up from there.

    Once confirmed, try purchasing the game again.
