    Gift card didn't go to xbox 360


    I activated a 60$ on my profile here on xbox.com. I did that so that I could buy the new call of duty. But when I am going to buy the game it says that I need a payment option, so it says that I have no money on my profile. If I go to "my account"
    and then "payement" it says that I got 60$. And if I go to an Xbox one game can I use the 60 dollars I got. Why wont it work for 360?

    Thanks Daft Badger. I didn't realize that Xbox 360 games couldn't be bought with the gift cards. That stinks. There isn't any saying that gift cards can't be used for Xbox 360 backwards compatible games.

    The website has not been updated to work with currency for 360 items. You have to make the purchase on the console.

    I also wanted to mention that you will need an alternate payment method anyway as the game will charge tax and $60 will not cover it. You will also need to use either a credit card or paypal to cover the difference.

    I have took pictures of the promotion that said if you go gold you will receive a $10 xbox gift card. I bought it through my debit card. I didn't use a prepaid card.

    yes xbox gift cards will work on pc,s and yes you need xbox live gold go for xbox live gold first.
