    Gift card code not working


    My son has just purchased a gift card, and has tried to enter the 25 digit code. It will allow him to put 24 characters in but just wont allow him to put the 25th character in.

    i thought he’d entered the code wrongly so i tried it myself but still no joy.

    any ideas?

    also when trying to enter the code he has to keep coming out of the entry screen as it will only allow him to enter one character at a time. Very frustrating!

    I’ve checked to see if there are any system updates required but nothing is showing.

    yes, gift cards work on the xbox. He'll buy the gift card and redeem the code on his xbox account.

    What kind of gift card is it? I've never heard of non MS gift cards for xbox. You can always try inputting the code and see if it works.

    Thanks but i wasnt talking about an Xbox Gift Card but a Microsoft (Store) Gift Card (Microsoft Currency) since it is directly Microsoft shouldnt it work on promo-code for Dev mode payment ?
