    Ghosts Update and can't play


    There was an 80MB update for Ghosts today. I was installing it and left (it looked like it was almost finished too) and came back and it said on the ghosts multiplayer screen: notice: the required content is added to your active downloads. This content
    is free and is required to access multiplayer. This message is dismissed when it is complete. I checked my active downloads and it said 1% complete of a 14.49 kb download. I though weird I must have no memory and I cancelled it (i was wrong I have plenty of
    memory for the 80 mb download). I saw i had enough memory and went back to multiplayer to see if I could reinstall the update. Instead it came up with that screen again. What do I do? What went wrong in the first place?

    Battlefield 4 - won't update, so can't play.

    I'm getting the same problem with COD Ghosts... Day one update was fine. COD Ghosts installed 100% try to play but says needs update, but the says there is s problem with the update! Checked connections and that's fine with no errors??? But cause can't update
    I can't play... Ridiculous!

    Cod ghosts update STILL WONT INSTALL

    I have called support and done what was said and y cod ghost will still not update so i can't play

    I completed the update and I went onto online and it reset my stats, my level,everything for no reason I haven't even had a email please help Microsoft

    Sorry to hear about the update issues. In order to make sure that we have not missed any troubleshooting steps, I would like you to try a few steps.

    Please give the following steps a try:



    • Restart your console.
    • Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller.
    • Go to Settings and select System Settings.
    • Select Network Settings.
    • Select your network (wired or wireless network).
    • Select Test Xbox Live Connection.
    • Clear Your System Cache.

    There was an update released in the last day or two for Ghosts, that required it to be updated. It only appeared when the game was started. Maybe between the prior time you played Ghost and when you switched to it from KI the update came out?
