Ghosts keep loading campaign on startup

Hello, every time I startup ghosts on Xbox one, it keeps loading the Loki mission. I've playing through the mission but it keeps starting from the last checkpoint in the mission every time I load the game. At first I thought it was a preference load but
I couldn't find the option menu to change the load preference. This is really getting annoying and I am not easily annoyed

Try disconnecting from your network if possible to see if the console even loads up to the Dashboard properly. If it doesn't, and if you can somehow navigate to the settings via the guide button, then try to do a stock reset on the console.

I am having the exact same thing happen to me and it's driving me mad,

Every time I switch on my xbox one and launch ghosts it automatically loads into the campaign rather the the main menu options for multiplayer and extinction,

 

I had this problem after the update, I found that if I go along with it and go into the campaign and pause, save and close it doesn't do that anymore.

 

It keeps doing this for me too. Even after I save and quit, it stops for a while but after I restart the system it does it again. Its getting to be incredibly annoying. It was definitely that last update.

 

also does anyone know why there is no 40 secound count down anymore every game of tdm i play no countdown and when game starts 10-15 secounds have already gone its the same for all players

 

I am getting this too, it is driving me crazy as well.

I've been having this too but now I can't even play. Black screen of death. Might get a PS4 if this keeps up.

 

This was suggested from BusGod on another forum question and worked a treat.

I know you advised system resets don't work but please try this exactly and post back: With the console on, press and hold the power button on the console for 5 seconds until it shuts off. Unplug the power supply, wait about 30 seconds and then plug it
in and reboot. You should see the green splash screen upon reboot. It may take a minute to boot all the way to the home screen. then sign in and try it.

 

I tried the hard reset already Sprouts, its a temporary fix. It works until the next time you turn on the console. Well, that's how it worked for me anyway

 

Haven't had an issue since continuing campaign then saving and quoting back to menu. Also, updated today and no further issues.

I'll give that a try. Hopefully continuing the compaign will fix it.

 

Yup, mine has this issue as well, seems like the transition of the xbox to the cloud is going to be more of a pain in the butt than you thought, Microsoft.
