Ghosts Digital Download Xbox 360 Question before upgrading to one.

I have the digital Download on the 360 for Ghosts and can upgrade to the one for ~$10.

Issue- Most of my friends are still on 360 but some have moved to the one. I would like to play with both groups.

If I upgrade and get Ghosts on the one will I also still be able to play on the 360? (Obviously not at the same time....)

If the answer is yes how can this be achieved?

If I get the Call of Duty: Ghosts Hardened edition for XBOX 360 from retail, will I be able to upgrade to XBOX ONE edition (Digital download) for $9.99 ?

it will work, if you bought the digital copy from the MS market place it will work not sure about any others:

I under stand everything stated in your link. But my main question is not answered there. Once I pay the additional fee can I play with both groups (360 & One)?

 

Yes if you buy digitally and upgrade, you will own both the 360 and the X1 version.

No worries. It's one of the main reasons I decided to go digital for it. So I would have both.
