    Ghost Partys


    Hey guys, im having an issue with party chat.

    My friends are telling me that im ALWAYS in a party even when i am not. They go to me on their friends list and click on my GT and then it says 'Join' and 'Party' indicating im in a party when i am not.

    I have tried all the usual stuff with no luck, from a complete power off of my xbox unit, and making sure i quit the party app etc etc, but nothing i do seems to solve the issue.

    Any idea's guys? Thank You

    X1 strict nat with open ports on rt-n66u

    i rung ms last night and the guy didnt have a clue why it was strict on 360 its open on ghosts its open but i cant join partys or friends games

    How the partys work in the xbox one?

    I'm somewhat pissed with infinity
    ward statements on the resolution of the
    cod ghost in the one and blames
    partys are handled as in
    the one. Previously I had read
    just that one partys in
    the manage games and not
    built into the operating system. What does this mean?
    That if one is in the interface and the other in
    a game can not be together in a party
    or whatever the hell does this work?

    I have got the same problem and have even posted up a thread about it in the support forums, still awaiting a reply, bumped it again today. It has been happening for me for a couple of weeks now.

    Sledgehammer doesn't have any involvement in Ghosts. The responsible parties for Ghosts are Infinity Ward, Raven and Neversoft.

    Kinect

    I use Kinect as a mic for Ghosts but it has very big limitations. The Kinect in general has a setting that allows it to pick up your voice and use it as a mic if no mic is plugged in. This works on several games but not Ghosts. Ghosts does not recognize
    the Xbones mic and will not try to use it. So you can use the mic to chat, but only if you are in a party. You can host a party switch to game chat and nothing will happen, it will not recognize the mic. But if you stick with party chat in a gamemode that
    allows you to play with party chat, then you can chat with your party, but you will never be able to chat with the lobby using the Kinect in Ghosts, at least as of now and the current updates.

    So there you have it, Use the Kinect for friends in a party, but no Kinect for game chat in ghosts. So looking forward to the adapter when it comes out for my headset.

    cant use kinect for chat in COD

    You can use kinect for party chat in ghosts that's it. other wise call of duty ghosts only supports commands for in game like "ghosts Restart" during campaign for a level restart.
