    Ghost Parental Lock


    Trying to see if anyone else has this problem (couldn't find it any where). I have a netflix account with 4 user profiles including my own. For some reason my xbox will randomly select a profile, put a parental lock on it and refer me to a website on netflix
    to reconfigure the settings. I put the URL in and it just brought me to the default netflix page. Then I opened my profile, to see if there was a parental lock on the website, and there was not. Please help, it's already annoying waiting for netflix to start
    up and switching back and forth from profiles is a huge waste of time.

    Parental lock

    Your friend will need to contact support 1-800-4MY-XBOX. They will be able to walk him though the steps to get the "Parental Lock" reset.

    Nearly all requests for parental lock are kids trying to bypass the parental lock. The reset is easy and painless when signing into the microsoft account of the parent who created the lock code.

    Hello, thanks for your reply. I have registered the xbox in my Microsoft account, any help on that note would be very helpful. I can't contact previous owners as bought through Amazon. Any further advice would be much appreciated.

    The parental lock will be tied to an account. Have you tried logging in with that account to deactivate it?
