Ghost Hackers

I just entered in a game of Domination on the map Strike Zone. When I first went in everything seemed legit...then all of a sudden I have unlimited ammo and people are flying everywhere. Then a message in green letters came on the screen saying Type Legit
or you will be kicked. First of all, there is nothing legit about a game like that. My question is...how is it that a game that is less than 3 months old is already hacked as bad as World at War??? Legitimate players, like my husband and myself, spend
a lot of money on these games and our XBOX Live Gold. It just doesn't seem fair to us to pay for something we can't even play without cheaters popping in everywhere. Obviously the game is not what its cracked up to be. Do you know of a solution to this problem,
other than not playing the game and losing all of the money we have put into it? We have bought 5 copies of Ghost. 2 for ourselves and 3 for our grandsons.

Unfortunately it's not really a Microsoft issue but one with the developers.

I really know no way of saying this other than the follow. The people behind the Call of Duty franchise seem to only care about making money. They pump out a new title every year and each one gets more and more DLC (while the DLC keeps getting more expensive).
All their games are prone to cheating and instead of fixing these security loopholes in the software with a patch they just push out more DLC for people to buy.

On the bright side with Xbox One's use of the cloud to host multiplayer games this sort of behavior should be a thing of the past.

 

The only thing you both can do would be to File a Complaint against the Gamertags of those that are modding the game, and Blocking Communications with them as well so hopefully you do not run into them again. Xbox/Microsoft cannot fix the in-game issue,
as it is the job of the game developers.

 

Call of Modding... er i mean call of duty has had these issues forever it seems. maybe its time for microsoft to suspend their servers on live till they fix it. That is doable but then again.... who wants to help the gamers right?

Thanks for the suggestions. It does seem as if it doesn't matter, as they are pushing the XBox One for safer gaming. This shouldn't have been tolerated in the very beginning of XBox...but I'm just a woman with an opinion.
