This has been a problem since December 2017, i had a live chat about it with ms support several months ago they took my email address and gamer tag and said they would look into it, as they realy wanted me to be able to play my games again :\ and have heard
nothing since (and as gfwl marketplace is no longer supported, i'm not holding my breath)

(i've noticed alot of these gfwl threads are being closed)

Hi,

Please can you give details of what you are trying to do please. My understanding is that Games For Windows Live was closed in 2014.

The marketplace has closed, but you are/were able to still download your purchases through the desktop client. You can even still redeem GFWL keys if you use the xbox app. Also several of the GFWL game servers were still running (Fable 3 for example).

I think every so often M$ will try to shut it down and see if anyone notices, but they won't keep me from my purchases.
