    GFWL gamertag


    Hi everyone.

    Today I tried to change my gamertag to one that I use as nickname at other social media and communities. It said that that tag was already taken and I remembered that I had created gfwl account before. Since I don't remember any login information ( or if
    it has any since it was created through game in steam ), is it possible to merge it with my current one or delete that one so that I'm able to change my current gamertag? Or is there a place where I can try to log in to it directly without Microsoft account?

    GFWL and Xbox

    So I have a GFWL gamertag and an Xbox gamertag (different), but whenever I am connected to GFWL, I get kicked off Xbox after about 2 minutes. Is there a fix for this?

    if you don't know your email address associated with it you can contact xbox support at 800 4 my xbox or chat support at Contact Us | Xbox Support and give them the GamerTag and if they can verify ownership of the account then they would
    be able to tell you the email address then you can go to account.live.com/acsr and try to recover the account. there is no way to combine to accounts together like that if you are wanting to use the Gamer Tag on a different account that you have you would
    have to first recover your account that its attached to then pay to have it changed off of that account which will then free up that Gamer Tag to allow you to change it to your new account.

    Doubtful, as GFWL and Xbox Live are the same thing, a GFWL gamertag will still show up the same way.
